Welcome

Welcome to Vice Crime and American Law. Your first task is to familiarize yourself with the course website and how the course is run. On the immediate left you will notice several links which will explain what the course is about, how it is run, and what is expected of you. The Description and Professor Bio will give you a brief introduction to the course content as well as my background.

You should pay special attention to the Syllabus, Calendar and FAQ. The syllabus will explain what is expected of you in the course as well as policies for how the course will be run. The calendar will display all important dates and deadlines for the course. Though the syllabus should answer most questions, I have included an FAQ to answer questions commonly asked about the course.

After you have read the syllabus and FAQ your first graded assignment is to prepare for the FAQ quiz. This quiz is designed to ensure that you have read and understood the policies and procedures for this course. As with all quizzes in this course, you must complete it during the 4-day window listed in the calendar. The FAQ quiz is worth 10pts.

Once you have read the Syllabus, FAQ, and the Calendar you may begin reading module 1.
