Mission of Kappa Omicron Nu
The mission of Kappa Omicron Nu is to create empowered leaders though scholarships, research and leadership development. This mission will enable the organization and chapters to prepare scholars and researchers to be leaders in the 21st century.
Membership Eligibility
For membership in the Omicron Alpha Kappa chapter of Kappa Omicron Nu, undergraduate students shall have declared a major in the School of Human Environmental Sciences, have completed 45 semester hours at UNC-G, have a minimum 3.4 GPA, and rank in the top 25 percent of their class.
Graduate students shall be enrolled in a graduate program in the School of Human Environmental Science, have completed 12 semester hours of graduate work, and have a minimum GPA of 3.7.
Inductions
Inductions are held once each semester.
Fall 2006 Inductions are scheduled for November 9, 2006 at 7pm in the Alumni House
Spring 2007 Inductions will take place in April 2007. Date to be determined
