Beta Beta Beta Honorary (Biology)
Tri-Beta is the national honor society for Biology students. Biology and related majors and second majors who are juniors and seniors, with at least 14 hours in Biology (8 of which must be at UNCG) and a GPA of 3.2 (cumulative and within major) are eligible for membership. The society promotes scholarship, service, and research within the Biological Sciences through departmental, campus, and local activities. Activities include Peabody Park tree-planting and trash pick-up, AIDS seminars, and participation in Departmental commencement. Selection is in the Fall.
