The Recreation and Parks Management major prepares students to pursue careers in commercial recreation and special event management, leisure services management, and therapeutic recreation, and prepares students to pursue graduate study at the master's level. The program has been accredited by the NRPA/AALR Council on Accreditation since 1981.
The Department of Community and Therapeutic Recreation is committed to offering an academically challenging program of undergraduate education coupled with a solid foundation of a liberal arts education.
