Minerva's Morning Coffee

MinervaOn Thursday, March 26, from 8:30 am to 9:45 am, come join the Office for Adult Students for a morning cup of coffee and some dialogue! We will be meeting in Charlie's Coffee Shop in the Elliott University Center.



"What's For Dinner?" Contest

What's For Dinner?Between March 16 and March 27, the Office for Adult Students will be sponsoring the "What's For Dinner?" Contest, where Adult Students can submit recipes in one of four categories and compete for $100 in groceries! There are also $25.00 gift certificates to P.F. Changs and Lucky 32. Commuter Deli

The next installment of Campus Activities' Commuter Deli will be on Wednesday, April 1st in EUC's Cone Ballroom from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Bring your Student ID, and look for a table of Adult Students!

Talk Walkers!

Talk WalkersThe "Talk Walkers" program will continue this Thursday at 8:30 AM. Come to the Office for Adult Students (210 EUC) to pick up a pedometer and drop off your stuff!

Kaleidoscope presents "Who Can Say What?"

This event will entail a group discussion on the issue of slang and racial slurs and who can say what under certain circumstances. It will be held on Wednesday, March 25th in the EUC Maple Room from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Pizza will be served.

Career Services Center presents Smooth Transitions from College to Career

This is a collection of three separate events. UNCG's Recent Alumni Panel will share their stories about life after UNCG and succeeding in the world. It will be held on Tuesday, March 31st from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the EUC Alexander Room.
The second event is Insurance: What You Need to Know and it will be held on Wednesday, April 1 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM in the EUC Kirkland Room.
The last event in this series is "The Basics of $$$" and it will be held on Thursday, April 2nd from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the EUC Alexander Room.

Triad Commute Challenge

UNCG is joining the Triad Commute Challenge by encouraging commuters who normally drive alone to consider more environmentally responsible ways to access campus. For more information and to register, please visit Triad Commute Challenge.

Congrats to Adult Student SGA Election Winners

Minerva LogoThe Office for Adult Students would like to congratulate Adult Students Jesse Russo and Galen Price for their election to the 2009-2010 SGA! Jesse Russo ran unopposed for SGA Student Body President and Galen Price ran unopposed for SGA Student Body Vice President.

Registration is Coming!

Registration for Summer and Fall 09 semester is quickly approaching! In order to assist those adult students who have not been through registration before, we have made a presentation available with some tips, pointers, and important dates here. This presentation was originally made by Nancy Bucknall (from CASA) and has been adapted for adult students. For the Registrar's website on how to register for classes, please go here.
