
Hi! My name is Beth Walton and I would like to tell you about some of the services offered by Student Health Services.
The Counseling & Testing Center or CTC is here to assist you with all your mental health needs and it is free for any enrolled student.
You can receive individual counseling working with a trained clinician or join group counseling with other students experiencing issues similar to your own.
The CTC also offers Crisis Counseling for students who are going through critical situations.
Outreach Programs are presentations that focus on the development of life skills such as stress, anger, or time management assertiveness, and relaxation training.
The CTC also administers numerous testing programs including the Praxis, GRE, LSAT, and MAT.
Applications for these programs are available at the CTC and on their website.

The Student Health Center is here to assist you with your medical needs.
They offer primary medical care, womens health and birth control cptions lab & X-Ray services, allergy injections and immunizations psychiatric care and a sports medicine clinic.
The staff is made up of professionals including Doctors, Psychiatrists Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
There is an on-site pharmacy to fill all your prescriptions, refills and over the counter medications.
If you are taking 6 or more hours, you have paid a student health fee.
This fee covers the basic care you will receive at Student Health.
Services such as lab work and X-rays are not covered in your health fee however these services are offered at the lowest possible rates.
Students who have not paid the health fee will be seen on a fee-for-service basis.
Welcome to the Wellness Center.
The Wellness Center provides information on a variety of issues including nutrition counseling, drug & alcohol education sexual health, body image, eating disorders, healthy relationships, HIV/AIDS, STDs, sexual assault, smoking cessation, massage therapy and acupuncture.
The Wellness Center is also home to Safe Zone, a campus organization of GLBTQ individuals supported by student faculty, and staff allies.
