Hi, I'm Ann Steldt, and I've been asked to talk about my experiences at the UNCG Library, and really, my experiences have been quite wonderful.
When I arrived five years ago to start my, finishing of my degree, I didn't know alot about the library, and it's like all libraries. You think it's books, and it's people, but this is much more.
The library here has been my safe haven. Home is a little bit difficult to study in, so I'll come here, and there are many places you can find to either hide out in or sit down and be comfortable... large screen computers. Everything's quite easy to come to.
You can reserve a room upstairs for any of your group meetings, and best of all, they now allow food. I can bring a drink and be comfortable here, um, along with, open 24/7 during exam times, and 24/5, I think, during the week.
It's been a pretty great experience!
