My name is Marcia Smith-Fisher and I am a Junior here at UNC-G and my first semester here I received a phone call from the Office of Adult Students regarding their Get Set Saturday.
And I think that was the most important thing that I could have done was to attend the seminar at the Get Set Saturday.
We were introduced to parking services. We were introduced to panelists, other students like me who were actually doing the whole college/student thing as I call it. We were introduced to each other as adult students. We were introduced to the Learning Center, special support services and so many other services here on campus.
That introduction was a great foundation for me starting my education here at UNC-G.
