Green Smoothie To Go-Go

Recipe Description:

A green smoothie (a predominantly fruit smoothie which also contains greens) is a powerhouse of nutrients, but easy to take on the go. Just blend it, bottle it, get a straw and go! This recipe lets you blow the 5-a-day challenge out of the water right at the start!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2-1 cup orange juice
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups mixed frozen berries (cherries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries - any and all work well)
  • 1 TBS ground flax (adds healthy omega 3 fatty acids)
  • few handfuls of baby spinach

Directions:

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth!
