Recipe Name:

Wholesome Tuna Wrap

Recipe Description:

Tuna salad with cheese and vegetables in a whole wheat wrap.

Ingredients:

  • 1 6 oz can of tuna packed in water
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • Coarsely chopped celery and onion to taste
  • 1 tsp. liquid of liquid aminos (All purpose seasoning from soy protein, much lower in sodium than regular soy sauce)
  • Green leaf or romaine lettuce
  • 1 slice of harvarti or provolone cheese
  • Sprouts
  • La Choy rice noodles to taste
  • 2 whole wheat wraps

Directions:

Drain water from tuna. In a medium bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, aminos, celery, onion and rice noodles. In the center of each whole wheat wrap, place lettuce, cheese and tuna salad. Top with sprouts. Turn bottom of wraps up and roll.

If transporting:
wrap securely in cling wrap

*top with rice noodles when ready to eat so they don't get soggy.
