Slow-Cooker Salsa Chicken

Recipe Description:

Delicious & healthy slow cook chicken dish. Make extra for great leftovers!

Got recipe from http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=141491 but adjusted a couple of things.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2-1 package reduced sodium taco seasoning
  • 1 can reduced fat cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream
  • Fat: 3.3g
  • Carbohydrates: 6.7g
  • Calories:157.2
  • Protein: 24.3g

Directions:

  1. Add chicken to slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken.
  3. Pour salsa and soup over chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
  6. Serve with rice.
  7. For extra flavor add some low fat shredded cheese on top of the chicken at serving!
