Category: Best Slow-Cooker/Crock Pot Meal

Author:

Recipe Name:

BBQ Chicken Sloppy Joes

Recipe Description:

This is a really easy and low-maintenance dinner. I like to serve it with corn-on-the-cob and french fries. It is one of our family favorites.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • water, as needed
  • pack of hamburger buns

Directions:

Place the chicken breasts in your slow-cooker, add the bottle of BBQ sauce, and enough water to cover the chicken. Give it a little stir, and cook on low for 4-6 hours. The longer you cook it, the more tender the chicken will become. Remove the chicken from the slow-cooker, and use a large knife to chop it up. Add as much or as little of the BBQ sauce back into the chopped chicken. Serve on hamburger buns, and have lots of napkins handy. The messier the better!
