Childcare

child care While UNCG does not have a child care program specifically earmarked to meet the needs of adult students who have young children, several options exist.

To identify the child care facilities in your geographic area, check the following website:
http://ncchildcaresearch.dhhs.state.nc.us/search.asp

Another option via phone: if you live in Guilford or Randolph Counties, call the United Child Development Service ( a United Way Agency) at 336-378-7700, and ask for the Resource and Referral Extension.

If you live in Forsyth County, call the Work Family Resource Office at 336-761-5100.

Please note: UNCG has several lab schools as part of the Child Care Education Program in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies. However, each lab school currently has a one year waiting list.
