UNCG HRS Worker's Compensation Policy
Definition: Legal regulations provided in G.S. 97-1 to provide protection and benefits to all employees who are injured through the course of their job. Coverage provides payment of medical expenses, and in certain cases, payment of wages for extended absence.
When to use: Any time an employee you supervise is injured in the course of their normal duties at the university.
