ADVERSE WEATHER TABLE

Please find the Adverse Weather/Emergency status of the University listed below to determine any actions that you should take

University Status

  1. Classes Delayed/Offices Open
  2. Classes Delayed/Campus Offices Delayed Opening
  3. Classes Cancelled/Campus Offices Open
  4. University Closed
  5. University Evacuated

Classes Delayed/Offices Open

Campus Resource/Community Affected Actions to be Taken
Campus Buildings Classrooms closed until delayed opening time as announced.
Designated Essential Personnel* The following employees must report to work per regular schedule:
-University Police
-Physical Plant
-Residence Life
-Dining Services
Students & Nine-month Faculty Should not report to campus for classes until delayed time as indicated.
SPA Staff, EPA Non-Teaching Staff and Twelve-Month Faculty Report to work per regular schedule or take vacation/comp time/bonus leave or leave without pay.

Classes Delayed/Campus Offices Delayed Opening

Campus Buildings Classrooms closed until delayed opening time as announced. Campus offices closed until delayed opening as announced.
Designated Essential Personnel* The following employees must report to work per regular schedule:
-University Police
-Physical Plant
-Residence Life
-Dining Services
Students & Nine-month Faculty Should not report to campus for classes until delayed time as indicated.
SPA Staff, EPA Non-Teaching Staff and Twelve-Month Faculty Report to work per regular schedule or take vacation/comp time/bonus leave or leave without pay.

Classes Cancelled/Campus Offices Open

Campus Buildings Classrooms closed all day.

-Residence Life
-Dining Services
Students & Nine-month Faculty Should not report for classes all day.
SPA Staff, EPA Non-Teaching Staff and Twelve-Month Faculty Report to work per regular schedule or take vacation/comp time/bonus leave or leave without pay.

University Closed

Campus Resource/Community Affected Actions to be Taken
Campus Buildings All University buildings (with exception of residence halls and dining hall) will be closed to all students, faculty, and staff.
Designated Essential Personnel* The following employees must report to work per regular schedule:
-University Police
-Physical Plant
-Residence Life
-Dining Services
Students & Nine-month Faculty Should not report for classes or other activities all day. All buildings except as noted will be closed to all activities.
SPA Staff, EPA Non-Teaching Staff and Twelve-Month Faculty Should not report to campus all day. Employees will not have to make up the time.

University Evacuated
(due to adverse weather or other emergency conditions which occurred during regular work day)

Campus Resource/Community Affected Actions to be Taken
Campus Buildings All University buildings (with exception of residence halls and dining hall) will be closed to all students, faculty, and staff.
Designated Essential Personnel* The following employees must report to work per regular schedule:
-University Police
-Physical Plant
-Residence Life
-Dining Services
Students & Nine-month Faculty All non-essential employees and non-resident students should leave campus as soon as possible. Resident students will be given instructions where to go if they need to leave campus.
SPA Staff, EPA Non-Teaching Staff and Twelve-Month Faculty Employees will be placed on Administrative Leave with pay for the remainder of their regular work day.

* Note: Additional employees or groups of employees may be designated as essential and therefore required to report to work depending on the type of or severity of the emergency at hand.
