  • Reinstatements(.doc)
    • The re-employment of a former employee after a break in service; the re-employment of an employee from leave without pay; re-employment of a seasonal employee that works 9, 10, or 11 months - Permanent, Seasonal, and Time-Limited
  • Changes in Existing Employees' Status (.doc)
    • For changes in Exisitng Employees' status only - Permanent, Seasonal, and Time-Limited
      Types of Changes to Employees' Status
      • Account Code Change - change in labor distribution
      • Appt Change-Prob to Perm - change from probationary to permanent
      • Acting Promotion: Cancel - cancel acting promotion
      • Acting Promotion: Start - when employee is temporarily promoted to a higher salary grade (this action may or may not involve a change to a different position number)
      • Appt Change-Prob to Perm - change from probationary to permanent
      • Career Progression Adjustment - changing from a career banded level to another career banded level
      • Full-Time to Part-Time - when employee changes from 40 hours a week to less than 40 hours a week
      • Horizontal Transfer - movement from one position to another within the same banded classification with the same competency level or movement from one position to a lower banded classification and competency level
      • Miscellaneous - other actions not already listed, please specify
      • Part-Time Hours Change - when the hours of a part-time employee changes
      • Part-Time to Full-Time - when employee changes from less than 40 hours a week to 40 hours a week
      • Reassignment - change in status resulting from assignment to a position with a lower band due to mutual agreement between the employee and employer
      • Reclassification: Up/Down/Horizontal - Up: movement of an employee to a higher career banded position without a change in position number; Down: movement of an employee to a lower career banded position without a change in position number; Horizontal: movement of an employee to same career banded position without a change in position number
      • Salary Adjustment: Retention - increase in employee's salary due to retention (increases over 10%)
      • Salary Increase After Effective Date - the granting of a salary increase after the effective date of a promotion (notes are put on Request from Appointment (HRCB-203) at time of promotion that department would like to give if funds become available)
