Web registration begins for all students: April 22
Early registration for continuing UNCG students: April 6-29
Review the UNCGenie Web Instructions PDF for a detailed step-by-step of how to register for courses online through UNCGenie. You may also obtain a printed copy of your Summer Session schedule when registering online.
If you are not a currently enrolled or returning student, or if you are applying as a visiting student, you must fill out a Summer Session Student Information Form (SIF) prior to registering for Summer Session courses. Continuing students enrolled at UNCG during the Spring Semester 2009 do not need to complete the Student Information Form.
Students’ accounts must be paid in full to confirm registration. Please make payment online through UNCGenie, by mail, or by using the secured payment box located outside the Cashier’s Office, 151 Mossman Building. Students may also pay in person at the Cashier’s Office on or before May 15. Registration will be canceled for all students who register between April 6 and April 29 who do not make full payment by May 15.
During the registration period a number of courses will reach enrollment limits and close. To register for classes which have closed, you must obtain a departmental or instructor’s signature on your drop/add form, and have it processed by the University Registrar’s Office. The registration system does not maintain waiting lists for courses.
Students may enroll for no more than 14 semester hours during the Summer Session and no more than 7 semester hours per term, unless permitted to take an increased load by the Director of Student Academic Services or the Graduate School. Undergraduate students enrolling for special short courses will not be permitted to enroll simultaneously for other summer study without official authorization.
