Summer Session Course Information

Check UNCGenie for the most current and accurate course listings for upcoming terms and semesters.

1. Click on the link UNCGenie in the upper right corner of this screen.
   
2. Select the “Class Schedule” link on UNCGenie Homepage.
   
3. On the Course Offering Search page, highlight the appropriate term/semester in the “Term” pull-down menu.
   
4. Next, highlight the appropriate department in the “Subject” pull-down menu.
   
5. Click the button “Course Search.”
   
6. Scroll down the list of courses to search the courses scheduled by that department.

If you are looking for online courses, pay attention to the “Course Type” column of information. WEB and WTX course types indicate online courses (WTX requires proctored exams).

Search for ALL Online courses scheduled in a particular term/semester:

1. Click your “Back” button to return to the “UNCGenie Homepage” or click on the UNCGenie link in the upper right corner of your screen.
   
2. On the UNCGenie Homepage, select the “Detailed Class Schedule” link.
   
3. Next, select the appropriate “Term/Semester” in the “Search by Term” pull-down menu, then click the “Submit” button.
   
4. In the “Subject” window of the next screen, place your cursor on the “Accounting” department, press the “Shift” key, and highlight ALL the academic departments/subjects.
   
5. In the “Schedule Type” window, highlight “Web-based.”
   
6. Click the button”Class Search.”
   
7. Scroll through the list of courses.

NOTE:  The Math Department uses WTX to designate its Online courses.
