Courses

The Division of Continual Learning at UNC Greensboro is a unique hub of innovation and creativity; a group that seeks to improve student learning at all levels; and an organization devoted to customer service by constantly revisiting and refining our process.

The online courses designed by our teams can transport you to another time and place. You might be asked to become a patron at a corner newsstand browsing magazines on political ideologies…a member of the U.N. negotiating a hostage standoff…or an alien who crash-lands on Earth and must learn how to survive.

Our faculty and course designers are convinced that effective online learning involves far more than just reading a textbook online and memorizing facts that are quickly forgotten. Instead we immerse you in an online world where you can experience the information you need to learn. You’ll be asked to evaluate evidence, make decisions and weigh the consequences.

Even our tests are a cut above and as creative as the courses they support. You might be asked to solve a puzzle, compile a documentary film on major course themes or write an argument for the Supreme Court.
