The Division of Continual Learning offers a variety of courses, including academic credit (degree related courses and non-degree related instruction), professional certificates, and continuing education unit (CEU) courses. Courses may employ a variety of delivery modes, from face-to-face instruction to the Internet. Courses with components delivered in electronic formats, either partially or entirely, are identified in "Course type " column. For information on degrees and certificates offered entirely online, visit UNCG iCampus section.
Distance learning courses and programs are defined as "off-campus instruction regardless of combination of delivery media," and are identified by section numbers 80-99 and have a campus code "D" or "X" designation in UNCGenie. Courses vary between predominantly Web-delivered and face-to-face instruction at off-campus locations.
e-Learning (online) courses and programs are defined as "any totally or predominantly electronically delivered" courses.
Summer and fall course schedules can be searched through the credit course index.

If active duty military personnel are non-North Carolina residents and qualify for admissions to UNCG, the rate for tuition and applicable mandatory fees is adjusted to equal the maximum level of tuition assistance provided by the armed services. Prospective students should check with their armed service unit's education directors to determine eligibility for tuition assistance and must file appropriate affidavit and application forms with UNCG prior to the start of any academic term. The UNCG forms can be found at: http://provost.uncg.edu/res/military.html .
Any dependent relative of an armed services member living in North Carolina may be eligible for in-State tuition rates provided he or she qualifies for admission to UNCG.
