iSchool registration schedule

2009-2010 Academic Year

  • Students must complete an electronic Student Information Form (SIF) once for the upcoming year.
  • Students can start submitting SIF's on Monday, March 2, 2009 for the 2009-2010 academic year.
  • The Fall 2009 registration window opens April 15, 2009.
  • Students will start receiving their PIN letters for Fall 2009 after April 15, 2009.
  • Students register for each iSchool semester individually (Fall 2009 registration and Spring 2010 registration).
  • The Spring 2010 registration window will be available October 12, 2009.
  • Important: Students must remember to add or drop iSchool courses at their high school with their guidance staff, and on the University side by going online to UNCGenie, UNCG's Student Registration System.
  • Students can confirm their iSchool registrations by going online to UNCGenie.

Important Items to Remember

  • Students must file their iSchool registration codes in a safe place; they will need them again.
  • Students must create and activate their computer accounts (Blackboard and UNCG email).
  • Blackboard accounts are necessary for students to access their iSchool online course.
  • UNCG email is required for students to communicate with iSchool instructors.
  • Students must go through iSchool Student Orientation with their high school "facilitator" the week before iSchool instruction starts.

iSchool courses for spring 2010 reached their cap. Students who have not yet registered are unlikely to obtain a seat.

iSchool is no longer accepting Student Information Forms (SIFs) for spring 2010 registration.

The 2010-2011 application process will open in March 2010.
