The Division of Continual Learning extends the resources of the University through traditional and non-traditional instructional programs conducted on and off campus for local, regional, statewide, national and international audiences. Most programs are designed in response to expressed educational needs and serve a wide array of groups, including professionals, children, and senior citizens. These special programs include, but may not be limited to, residential and non-residential courses, workshops, seminars, conferences and/or other educational activities. Instruction modes include traditional classroom settings, web and/or video based instruction. Some programs offer academic credit or professional certification units. Others are non-credit and are open to interested persons regardless of educational background. All programs, except Distance Learning, are self-supporting and require funding from registration receipts, tuition, grants, or other revenue sources.
