Blackboard is an online course management system, which offers students a robust set of tools, functions, and features for learning. Online courses at UNCG use Blackboard a great deal.

Access

Students can access Blackboard whether on or off campus via the Internet at http://blackboard.uncg.edu.

Remember, to access Blackboard, you must activate your Novell Netware / Blackboard account. Click here for instructions.

To reset your Blackboard password, refer to section Changing Passwords.

Usage

Blackboard orientation. Learn about how to access Blackboard, how to use the announcement area, how to interact with the communication features, and how to take advantage of other tools in Unit 3 of UNCG's Blackboard orientation at http://www.uncg.edu/aas/itc/bborient/ .

DCL Blackboard tutorial. Before taking an online course at UNCG, it is helpful for you to review a series of tutorials for a sample course. Visit http://web.uncg.edu/dcl/icampus/techsupport/bborient.asp.
