If you're a junior or senior in high school and are starting to think about college, DCL offers a program to help you get ready for it: UNCG iSchool, a way for high school juniors and seniors to get ahead of the game by taking college classes while still in high school.
Our classes are actual college credit courses, taught in your high school by teachers approved through UNCG. What's more, you can earn college credit hours at the same time you're satisfying your high school graduation requirements.
Study English Comp, Western Civ, Pre-Calculus, just to name a few. UNCG iSchool students receive an official UNCG transcript showing transferable college credit. We're so sure of our program that if you receive a grade of C or better and the college or university you attend does not accept your credit hours, we'll refund your tuition!

The virtual high school, is very much like a virtual early college, because though the courses are taken on the high school campus, they are taken in a computer lab, online. Students signed up for the same courses, don't have to be at the same locale. Most college-bound juniors and seniors who are willing to work hard may successfully complete one or more courses per year. Check with your school guidance counselor for information about other requirements.
High school teachers who hold master's degrees and 18 hours of graduate study in the subject teach UNCG iSchool courses. Approved teachers attend summer workshops conducted by UNCG faculty and are appointed as UNCG adjunct instructors to help hold your virtual high school experience to the best standards.
