COURSE OVERLOADS

Students who are in academic good standing may register for up to 19 hours per semester and up to 7 hours each term during the summer. Students who wish to register for more hours must request permission from Student Academic Services to go over the limit by filling out a drop/add slip. Enrollment overload in closed courses also requires the instructor's signature on a drop/add slip. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If permission is granted, then the student must take the drop/add slip to the University Registrar's Office for registration. Students who are on academic probation are not granted course overloads.
