Join the Undergraduate Admissions staff and Spartan Guides to see why we say "YOU FIT HERE." The campus tour program gives you the opportunity to experience our beautiful campus, outstanding learning environment, and hear firsthand from our student leaders.
Each campus tour visit will include all of the following activities and you should allow at least two hours for your visit.
You will begin your tour in the Dail room of the Elliott University Center. An admissions counselor will present the highlights of UNCG and answer questions about the university. You will learn why students choose UNCG, admissions requirements, application information and the next steps in the enrollment process (housing, financial aid and orientation). We will cover all of the "hot topics" and help you navigate the college search process.
UNCG Spartan Guides will lead you on a walking tour of campus. There is no better way to see UNCG than through the eyes of our current students. The tour includes a visit to a typical freshman dorm room (when available), the campus cafeteria, student center, an academic building and a chance to learn about our history and traditions.
You will conclude your visit to UNCG at the Armfield-Preyer Admissions & Visitor Center, which is also the home of The Undergraduate Admissions Office. You will receive a packet of information personalized to your academic interest and have the opportunity to talk with an admissions counselor.
If you wish to visit with an academic department, sit in on a class, stay overnight in a residence hall, or learn more about UNCG's Division I sports teams, please call our office prior to your visit. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions does not arrange these optional activities but will provide you with a contact on our campus.
