Major: History (Social Studies)
Graduation Year: 2011
Hometown: Advance, NC

My personal motto is: "You get out what you put in."

My goals are: To graduate in four years with my degree in History Education.

I selected UNCG because: Academic programs and great location.

My best UNCG moment: Joining the Track & Field team my freshman year.

My biggest surprise at UNCG: Making an "A" in Dr. Mazgai's History 348 class.

My favorite place on campus: Yum-Yums, greatest hot dog on the planet, period.

On the weekends: I relax.

My favorite class: History 348/349 with Dr. Mazgai. Dr. Mazgai's teaching style really suits my style of learning and the material in these courses was really interesting.

I am involved in: Spartan Track & Field

My favorite food on campus: Yum-Yums hot dogs

Favorite thing to do in Greensboro: Attend Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball games downtown

If I could have a superpower, it would be: Super-speed

My one piece of advice for prospective students is: Whatever university you choose to attend, make sure your decision is based on a solid mixture of academics and personal taste. I've seen a lot of friends go to schools for reasons they thought were good at the time and have since transferred and really messed up their academic standing.
