Adult students have been a significant part of UNCG's undergraduate student body since the University's founding in 1892. Currently, approximately one quarter of our undergraduate students are age 24 or older.
We understand that adult students have unique needs. To assist you in completing your degree we offer several programs and services, including day or evening classes with full-time or part time schedules. Once admitted, the Office for Adult Students offers further support.
Adult students are evaluated individually for admission. If you are a prospective adult student, we encourage you to meet with an adult admissions advisor to develop a plan for continuing your studies at UNCG. To schedule an appointment, call 336.334.5243. Please bring your high school and previous college transcripts for a specific admissions recommendation, or come to learn general information about UNCG's programs and application process.
