What's New at UNCG!
- In recent years, UNCG has experienced record student enrollments, with more than 17,000 students including more than 13,000 undergraduates, and 2,500 freshmen.
- UNCG's Phi Beta Kappa Chapter at UNCG was named the most outstanding chapter at a public university by the National Phi Beta Kappa Society.
- The School of Education was again ranked among the best in the nation, according to America's Best Graduate Schools 2010 by U.S. News & World Report.
- An apartment style residence hall with full-size beds, private rooms, and an on-site convenience store and mail center opened in 2006.
- Two academic buildings opened in fall 2006: the Gatewood Studio Arts Center provides classroom, studio, and office space for the Departments of Interior Architecture and Art, and the Moore Hall for Humanities and Research Administration houses various departments in The College of Arts and Sciences.
- UNCG's Lloyd International Honors College offers talented students a unique academic experience with an international focus such as study abroad, an internship with an international company in the U.S., or a service learning project with one of the many international communities in North Carolina.
