A Brief Message from Your Department Head
"The UNCG Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers all the advantages of both small and large schools. We are small enough that teaching is very important, class sizes are generally small, and lectures are taught by professors. We’re large enough to offer opportunities for research, excellent chemical instrumentation, and a wide selection of options for advanced study. Over the past two years more than 40 undergraduates have carried out research and more than half of these have made presentations at scientific meetings." . Patti Reggio, Department Head, Department of Chemistry
